An examining board for mobile networks
askotto is a small, independent consumer-information practice. We read the plans, the small print, the regulator's rules and the measurement reports, and we publish the result the way an examiner would: criteria, evidence, a grade, and the working shown.
We hold no commercial relationship with any network. Nobody buys a grade, sponsors a report, or previews a verdict. Where the evidence is mixed we say so; where a network earns an A we award it without embarrassment, and where it earns a C we award that too.
Not a network, not a reseller
We do not sell SIMs, handsets, plans or airtime. We cannot access any customer account, and we never ask for one-time codes, passwords or payment details. When you call or WhatsApp us, you reach a askotto consultant who can explain, compare and guide — and who will always send you to the network's own official channels for anything on your account.
How a report is built
- Fix the criteria in advance — the same nine for every network.
- Gather the record: published plans, policy pages, regulator rules, independent measurement.
- Write the working, then the grade — never the other way round.
- Re-mark when the facts move: mergers, switch-offs, rule changes.
